The boards are hand made from 3/4" plywood. The lid attaches to a "tray" that houses the pedals and creates the bottom of the road case. The rest of the specs are:

- 28"x14" pedal area
- Sprung handle for carrying
- Carpet lined tray for attaching pedals via velcro
- 4" clearance in the lid (foam lined)
- 4 x 1/2" rubber feet on the bottom to prevent sliding and allows cables to run neatly underneath the board
- Steel corners for protection and added support of the lid and "tray"
- Two 1/2" runners add support for the lid when carrying and also to align the lid when closing the case (they can easily be shaped with a chisel or knife for additional space or clearance)
- Polyurethane coated
- 25 lbs empty
