Where are you from? Roanoke, VA
How did you join the band? "A few friends at college actually hooked us up... We all got together to play a small function at the cafe on campus and we really enjoyed ourselves and decided to play a little bit more. I remember having a splended experience jamming over Jason's material and I think I asked him if we could try to write some parts and arrange a few songs... the idea of starting a band wasn't really discussed, that I remember... we just started playing a few tunes... then it became addicting... It was completely natural growth"
What role do you play in the band? "Outside of playing the guitar for the band, I'm generally resposible for the stage rig, front of house sound, and playing tetris with the gear before and after shows, in order to get it into the truck, or cars when it rains.
Basically I run cables to all of the gear, make all of the connections for our mics and amps, and check mic levels during the sound check... I do take great pride our stage rig and like it to look and feel as professional as possible... so its a lot of fun in the end. I am also the most likely to sweat."
What is it that you love about music and give some insight on your influences. "Music really affects people. it can bring you up
